New Year, New Partners!

More kids and families in foster care are receiving the support of a care team in this new year!

Faith Church is ready to serve 2 foster families with care teams as they pray for God to raise up a foster family in their church. I love how God works to bring the right family to the right care team. 

The request for two families in Richland who would like a care team went out to the agency. In the interim one of the church people commented how neat it would be for their church to serve a foster family she knew through work.

Yes, you guessed it!  When Faith Church received the two families acceptance of support and contact information, one of them was that exact family.

In this new year we are seeing more foster families surrounded with a care team of support, encouraging others to consider stepping into the calling to foster. Fusion Church is preparing to surround foster families in their church with intentional support through a care team.

Whether you open the door of your home to foster, open the door of your heart to support a family on a care team or open your hand to provide financial support for Fostering Family Ministries to continue to grow as well as meet material needs for placements you are involved in foster care mission!

We celebrate the financial support through our Made for Home campaign 2024 with over $114,000 raised. Our ministry is thankful for $100,000 in additional year end support which is helping fund our growth in 2025. Several new donors have supported the ministry through gifts already in the first few weeks of 2025. 

Our TBRI training (trauma informed training) is already impacting 25 staff members in counseling servies in Ashland county this month in preparation for the TBRI In Home Intensive facilitator training later in the spring. The addition of two more TBRI Practitioner certified staff will help us meet these needs for equipping and coaching in all of our communities.
