Even a meal...

Even a meal makes a difference...
In the words of a kinship grandparent caring for a grandchild recovering from hard things in his young life.

M (grandchild in kinship care) is becoming the little social butterfly. He enjoys people coming in and out of our home and especially looks forward to the meal each of you have provided one day a week. M continues to make more and more eye contact and remember people, faces and names & shares with others that he “loves” his church family. He is involved in programs – Lifewise Academy and Beacon at Trinity. M Knows that God loves him because of the people around him who love him from the church. He enjoys recognizing people in the church hallway.

Each of you are making a difference in M’s life. When you step into our home – M is seeing a piece of the church reaching out to him because Jesus loves him. Every night he wants to hear stories from his Bible along with a prayer to help him feel safe when he sleeps. He knows that you are praying for him and that also bring a smile to his face.

Thanks for the seeds each of you are planting in our grandson and in his life. You may think it is only a meal- but it is the smiles, the interactions, the chance for us to set down and breathe and talk about the things in our day that made us smile and has reminded us where Jesus is in our day. Thank each of you for making a difference.

You help make this difference as you surround foster and kinship families with love and practical support. DO NOT GET WEARY in WELL DOING. Your service is making a difference for ETERNITY!

Pastors, Church Leaders and Key Volunteers we want to treat you to lunch and give you a Church Media Kit to help share the mission of the church to children in foster care.
Because Children Belong in Families...join us for More Than Enough launch in every county. Go to EVENTS Tab on our website to register.

Lunch events are scheduled for Medina, Ashland & Knox so far. Wayne, Richland and Huron to come!
