Would you answer THIS call? Your phone rings and the voice on the other end asks if you would take in four children who have been removed from their home. This call came to a foster family last week who already have two small children of their own and one foster youth. They were willing to take in the children BUT they needed bunkbeds, mattresses and bedding. A call again went out, this time to our church and community with the need for bunkbeds, mattresses and bedding. Several answered that call. Within 24 hours beds were provided and funds were donated to purchase mattresses and bedding. Thanks to churches and the Community Foundation, four children are now together and this foster family has seven children in their home!  A call now is for the church to provide a care team will help support this family, providing weekly support and encouragement for the foster parents and the children. A call is going out...to you and your church. If you are not already involved in foster care ministry NOW is the time to answer the call.
