Three ways to shower foster children with love.

The little Valentine's are all written and sealed to be delivered to classmates. Do you remember the fun of opening each one and sharing in the festivities?  You are Special. You are Loved, each little Valentine declares.

For children who come from hard places, being loved and cared for in the proper way can be a difficult journey. This requires the patience and understanding of loving and compassionate foster parents or relatives.

This month, in honor of Valentine's, invest in the lives of these children in the midst of their childhood journey. There are three ways you can show your love:

1. Open your heart and foster a child. Training begins in March in Ashland County. Find out more here.
2. If you can't foster, volunteer to support a foster family. Volunteer training will be February 20th. Register here and share the flyer.
3. Participate in our "Share the Love" card shower in February for those who care for foster children. A gas card to pay for extra trips, restuarant cards, clothing store cards or entertainment events all make a difference in the lives of children from hard places. Mail the card to:                        Fostering Family Ministries, 575 St. Rt. N, Savannah, OH 44874.       We will share it with a family who cares for children from hard places.
