Giving thanks for you...As you gather with family and friends, know that Fostering Family Ministries is thankful for your prayers and support of children from hard places in Ashland. We have just begun to partner with local churches to call out foster families and supportive friends and already we have seen God move in the hearts of our community.
Our second volunteer training will be hosted Dec 3rd, from 8:30-10:30am at Ashland Brethren in Christ. Over the next few weeks we will have volunteers matched up with some of our new and current foster families who have requested support.
In this season of friends, family and giving thanks, do not forget to be thankful for your Heavenly Father and the family He has provided for you. Ask Him to show you how you can help see "God place the lonely in families", Psalms 68:6. It may be that you attend the volunteer training, train to be a foster familily, get your church involved with Fostering Family or give financial support to support the ministry. Keep us in prayer as you seek how God would want you to live out your faith to these children and families in need.
